My homework for this weekend has been completed. I suppose I should have done it earlier, but none of it was difficult. My uniform has been laundered as well.

...But...

...She's here. And I...

I was so certain that I'd forgotten all about <strike>Asuka</strike> Soryu-san. And I should have-- of all the people from the middle school, she hated me the most. But even so, I...

...I don't know why I felt... so happy to see her again. And why I'm agitated, eager for the first time in two years to go to school. Not that it matters. I am not even sure what it is I want from her. Ikari-san... he always told me that such feelings were useless, that I should not bother with them. And I've obeyed him all my life.

...So I'll obey him now as well. And ignore this restlessness that only happens around her.

The week is nearly over already. Not that it matters that the weekend's coming up-- the same as any other day.

After a few days of classes, I've recorded some of my observations on the people/ teachers around me.

Science/Homeroom: An interesting class as always, but the instructor seems rather... different. As rumored, he does indeed wear a mask and is definitely reading a book of some sort all the time. Seems a decent enough man.

Mathematics: My... enjoyment of the class was hindered in fact by the teacher. Seemed to have little concern for his subject and more concern for pursuing women much younger than he. Possible sex offender; will monitor further if something occurs.

English: Hughes-san is a very honest and exuberant teacher. He seems to genuinely love his students and subject, almost as much as the child (Elicia, I'm told) that he has multiple pictures of on his desk. Should be able to avoid intense breach of personal space by sitting in the back.

Japanese: A rather... simple instructor for this class. Does not act her age; seems like a teenager herself. Although her instruction was decent, so such things balance out, I suppose.

P.E.: I have always managed to do passably well in Physical Education classes, and this was no exception. Kuga-sensei is a rather frank and intimidating woman, but fair.

History: An interesting class, with a very good instructor. Polite, organized, intelligent. Also, apparently involved with the P.E. instructor.

In homeroom, a boy named Suou Tamaki approached me, along with a girl who i found out was named Eclair Tonnerre. Suou-san expressed a desire to requisition my copy of Le 'Etranger, which I decided on a whim to comply with. Will be disappointed if returned in a less than satisfactory state.

Classes start today. I have already collected my uniform and schedule, but forgot to prepare lunch for today (hopefully the cafeteria has something vegetarian that I can eat).

2-A:
Homeroom Teacher:

Hatake Kakashi

Students:

Kanarienvogel Rozen
Sora
Yamada Hanatarou
Lelouch Lamperogue
Suou Tamaki
Ayanami Rei
Eclair Tonnerre

I've already heard some strange rumors about my homeroom teacher-- supposedly a masked man who interests himself with pornographic materials in class. Unlikely, but will report back with observations, especially on rather unconventional class. Hacking the school intranet is a possibility, but that would just cause problems for Ikari-san.

2-A:
09:00-09:50: Science.
10:00-10:50: Math.
11:00-11:50: Japanese.
12:00-12:45: Lunch.
12:45-01:35: History.
01:45-02:35: P.E.
02:45-03:35: English.

My schedule does not look particularly challenging. Mathematics could be enjoyable, though. Again, will have to make observations on situation before coming to a conclusion.

It seems I'm entering the school late. I apologized to the principal, though it seems irrelevant-- I missed more class than I should have in middle school but still graduated. I'm... quite thankful to Ikari-san for that.

So far it seems like any other school at Suzuran Gakuen; loud and full of cheerful students. As long as I have somewhere quiet I can read at, that's all I need. I expect classes won't be terribly challenging, either.

<strike>...I almost miss Ikari-kun and Sorhyu-san... but I suppose there's no point in worrying. They would have left me eventually anyway.
</strike>
I considered applying for the dormitories, but it seems like a waste of Ikari-san's money. I don't live far enough away to justify it, and it's at least peaceful on the walk from the apartment to school. I suppose I should prepare for classes tomorrow.
